US 82 is a major regional route north of the central Ector area. Drivers using FM 898 to reach US 82 should be prepared for a substantially higher-speed traffic environment.

SH 78 and SH 121

Ector's strongest local driving lesson is the transition between the community's smaller roads, FM 898 and US 82.

Bois d'Arc and Lake Area Trips
