Primary Local Driving Topic: Rural Highway Intersections
For Hart students, one of the most useful skills to practice is approaching rural intersections. The roads around town can carry vehicles moving at significantly different speeds, and some intersections connect Farm-to-Market roads rather than conventional city streets.
New drivers should identify stop signs early, understand which road has the right of way, scan both directions before entering, and avoid assuming that a larger roadway will always have a stop sign.
