On I-35E, the student needs to manage speed changes, identify the correct entrance lane, check mirrors and blind spots, and avoid waiting until the last moment to exit. These skills are especially important for drivers who may eventually commute toward Dallas or south toward Waxahachie.

School and Residential Traffic

Residential streets require attention to parked vehicles, pedestrians, driveways and changing speed conditions. Drivers should not assume a familiar neighborhood is automatically predictable.
